Alzheimers, dementia and memory care

Leading the way in Alzheimer’s and memory care in northern Nevada

Arbors Memory Care Community is a community for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias in the Reno and Sparks area.  The Arbors is an experienced and dedicated partner in caring for your loved one.

We are a comfortable environment that promotes person-centered care, independence and choice. The communication and interaction with our highly trained caregivers, the therapeutic activities and the daily structure provide our residents with enjoyable days and offers families peace of mind.

Family owned and managed, the Arbors is a safe, relaxing environment where families and friends feel welcome and residents know they belong.

Upcoming events

We feel that individuals living with dementia benefit greatly from the opportunity to participate in activities.  That’s why we schedule a large variety of activities and events throughout the month, including visits from local entertainers who perform for our residents, as well as weekly outings to local parks, restaurants, museums and more.

Check out our June Activity Calendar for all of our upcoming activities and events including arts and crafts, cooking, live entertainment, classes, games, scenic bus rides, pet therapy and much more. This month we’ve also got some fun trips planned some picnics at local parks, as well as other weekly outings.

We hold our Monthly Support Group on the third Thursday of each month in our den.  We welcome all families and friends of our residents, as well as anyone who is caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.  Our next meeting will be on July 20th at 4:00 pm.

Stay tuned for details on our Cool Classic Cars – Hot August Days Car Show coming in August.

Every Thursday at 11:00 am we offer a Moments of Memory art class for our residents. Stop by and take part in one of these fun and rewarding classes. It’s great to visit with our residents and create some amazing art.
