We feel that individuals living with dementia benefit greatly from the opportunity to participate in activities. That’s why we schedule a large variety of activities and events from morning to night and throughout the month, including visits from local entertainers who perform for our residents, outings to local parks, restaurants, museums and more.
Check out our October Activity Calendar for all of our upcoming activities and events including lots arts and crafts with fall and Halloween themes including Bird Seed Pinecones, Pumpkin carving, Pumpkin Painting, Popcorn Balls and more. We’ll also be cooking, enjoying live entertainment (12 performers coming this month), having sing-alongs, taking classes, playing games, taking scenic bus rides and much more. This month we’ve got some fun outings planned including a trip to the Pumpkin Patch, a Lunch Bunch outing and a trip to Scheel’s to explore the store and do some fudge tasting.
Our Support Group is open to the public and takes place on Thursday, October 19th at 4:00pm.
Join us for our Family Night Harvest Party on Wednesday, October 25th from 5:30 – 7:00pm. We’ll be whipping up a delicious meal for all of our families and guests and we’ll have live entertainment.
We’ve got Sing-Alongs scheduled every Monday at 10:30am with Nancy or Bev.
This month we have at least 12 visits from live entertainers coming to perform for our residents! Come on by to listen. See our calendar for all the dates.
Every Thursday at 11:00 am we offer a Moments of Memory art class for our residents. Stop by and take part in one of these fun and rewarding classes. It’s great to visit with our residents and create some amazing art.
