In this time of Thanksgiving we must start our weekly update by saying, "Thank You."
Thank you to our team members for showing up each day to care for our residents. For going above and beyond for the past nine months. Thank you for taking precautions at work and in your personal lives to help keep our residents and your coworkers safe. We are proud of our team.
Thank you to our residents who have shown such resilience and support. Thank you for being a constant joy for our teams.
Thank you to friends and family for your support and understanding. We know that these precautions have been hard, and that you miss visiting your loved one. We miss you as well.
We are also very thankful at hearing good news in the production of a vaccine and the efforts to prioritize those in healthcare and senior living. We are hopeful that this means we can see you all in our communities, hugging your loved ones, again soon.
This week we are pleased to report that we continue to be Covid-19 free since our last update.
Arbors Memory Care continues to work closely with local and state health authorities to adhere to all CDC guidelines and recommendations regarding Covid-19 to keep our residents, staff, and visitors safe.
Visitation options for a limited number of family and/or friends will be allowed following specific protocols and procedures and if Washoe County's 14-day test positivity rate is less than 10%. Washoe County's current rate is above that number.
We are currently scheduling outdoor and virtual visits. We will continue to update with more information regarding visitation.
